Anyone use a Bendix J-24706 EFI Analyzer or a Kent-Moore J-25400 EFI Analyzer? I saw a recommendation to use a volt/ohm meter. Comments?
The GM/Bendix analyzer is really just a volt/ohm meter, so a basic v/o meter can perform 99% of the functions. The only thing that the GM/Bendix analyzer has is a built in computer that can run the car, but this is a separate function from checking condition of the various components.
New member. I live in Pocatello, ID and work in Salt Lake City, UT. I'll be moving to Herriman, UT next year. I am the new owner of #1277

I did get some pics of the car on sale uploaded. Plans for the car are to keep it original. I have already registered the car in Utah with "Vintage" plates so that I won't need the annual emissions inspection. Plate will be "75COS" in the same format as my 2 GT's. The car will stay in Utah and not go to Idaho where my 2 GT's are currently located.
The condition looks good in the pics, but there is a list of parts that need to be replaced either because they were missing, or they were broken, or it was the wrong part. These parts include the "vestigial" air dam, the gold striping, the radiator fan, the drip rail chrome, the hood insulation pad, and the gas cap. The engine compartment is quite dirty and will need a lot of cleaning. The carpets are very good. There is no rust anywhere I can see. Even the underside looks quite good. The driver's side bucket has a couple of cuts in the vinyl and will need to be replaced or repaired.
I think in the registry you can see that 1277 has swing out windows, tinted glass, AM/FM stereo with rear speaker. The engine and transmission are original, so it is a 4-speed.
I don't think I will make it to the KC Roundup. I have a full schedule and driving 1277 would sort of defeat the purpose of a low mileage car (10,540 miles). But the Roundup tentatively schedule for Arizona I could make if I drive one of my 2 GT's. We'll see. That's too far out to know anything solid.
