Getting close to its first dive in 29 years!

Actually that is the heater box. Looks like my heater core has a leak at the inlet pipe joint. Probably from my less than deft attempt to remove it---UGG! May try to solder it. Sail panels cleaned and ready for paint tomorrow.

I was able to save the original line after all. I had to bend the end straight and replace the fitting. Had just enough room to flare it. I ordered a master cylinder and it was wrong. I figured I could at least pull apart the original. I got nothing to loose. Well all looked good inside and then I spotted the problem. Each side of the reservoir has 2 holes. One of these holes had a piece of crud lodged in it. Cleaned out the hole and now I have brake pressure. Bled the fronts and I started on the rears. First bleeder cracked open no problem. Sucked out all the old fluid with a hand vacuum pump. Tomorrow I will attack the right rear.

Super white turned out to be a pretty good match.

Cut some carpet padding to replace the jute backing. Washed out the carpet as best as I could. You know how weak the sun makes it...Sitting outside for 20 plus years. Now I will attempt to dye the faded areas with Rit dye.

The major rust was at the floor pan to firewall seam. Only a couple of Quarter size holes. Laid down some Grace roofing shield to quite things.

I ordered a repop drain plug.Hope it fits. Coated the front pans with kbs[like por 15] Oddly, only the divers side had undercoating and that was all dried up and flaked off leaving red primer.[inside the car]

Well, still at it with the Cossy. I set out to get the brakes working[need to replace right front brake line.] Decided to pull the heater box to access the line. Box was past home to field mice. That lead to pulling the carpet. All and all, not that bad underneath!

sem super white looks better on the chart. I hate guessing as the cans are $17.

Thanks for your input. I ordered the Ebay repops. Sailcloth white is too bright.
