I renewed my Membership 2 weeks ago... Paid by PayPal. The website is now giving me popups that my membership is about to expire (20 days or something). How long does it take renewals to show up? I am not overly concerned, just thinking that this is something other members might run into and question.

Hello Members, John Jr. and I have been working on some draft documents to update/change our Concours Judging at our Roundups.  We are soliciting comments and discussion about what we have come up with.  Below is some background information and details.  On this post you will find the 5 PDF documents that you should be able to download and view.  Let me know if you cannot view them and I will find a way to share them with you. I was a Concours Judge at the Lincoln Roundup in 2018 (1 of several).  After that day of Judging, many members and John Jr. had a vibrant conversation about Concours Classes and Judging.  I was also asked to be a Judge at the Kansas City Roundup in 2020, and happily said yes.  After these two experiences, I was concerned with the complexity of our Concours Rules and Judging Sheets.  I identified several issues with our Judging Sheets as it related to using the same document across Classes.  It was needlessly difficult to Judge the cars, trying to apply the SET Rules/Guidelines. John Jr. and I have had many discussions over the last 4-5 months.  My main focus going into this endeavor has been to simplify the Classes/Guidelines and also to simplify the score sheets so they could be used across Classes in a more logical manner.  Our current Guidelines document is 14 pages long and I would guess that few of our members have read and comprehended it fully (to be honest, I had not until after the KC Roundup).  Our current scoresheet is 4 pages long and did not work well across Classes when judging. John Jr. has asked that I share the documents that we have drafted together.  I am pretty proud of what we have put together.  We would like to have an open discussion to see what our member’s thoughts are.  These documents will also be shared on our Facebook page. There are a total of 5 proposed documents (proposed to replace our current documents) Classes and Guidelines- 1 page Dash Document- 1 page Score Sheets- 2 pages Judge training document- 1 page We are looking forward to an open, constructive conversation.  Thanks to all of you. For those that are not members on our Facebook page... 0002 is ready for KC Roundup 2020. I am very pleased that I have gotten him to this point. 0002 is drive-able, but not "road ready" quite yet. I will be able to drive it on and off the trailer AND move around the parking lot. I have jumped many hurdles in the last 8-10 months. A short list of what I have gotten done; reconditioned a donor engine, installed the engine and many of the engine bay components from the original 0002 (I did have to fabricate and change locations of a few items), auto transmission fluid change, and installed lower valance and front spoiler. Prior to this work, I installed a good donor Skytrends sunroof (original one was trashed, Thanks to JD Smith). This Cosworth has a cool factor to me that I actually cannot explain in few words. I am looking forward to the Roundup in KC and hope to see and talk to many of you there!!

The Midwest Region is proud to announce..!! “Mini Roundup” - Prelude to the National Roundup on Saturday, June 13, 2020. Please see the two documents included for the details. We hope to host a great group of people and Cosworths!! Jack Hovick started asking some questions about getting something put together. Dave Bloch and Cathie McKim took the idea and ran, they were instrumental in the getting plans setup. I had some involvement as well ;) We ALL look forward to seeing all of those that are able to attend. Feel free to contact Jack Hovick, David D Bloch, Cathie Seidenkranz Mckim or myself with questions. We don't know what the future holds surrounding the COVID-19 Pandemic. However, we must still plan events which make the CVOA function in a forward manner. We will take all precautionary measures as laid out by the CDC and other communications from the national/local medical authorities. Should anyone have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at your first convenience.

I have not been on here for a while. I have acquired 3144 (Firethorn) and two parts cars; 1329 and 0671. Currently, I am working on getting the "Maloy 0002 " recreation running; I have a replacement engine installed and finishing up all of the plumbing and gas tank/sending unit rebuild.
