Are you parting it out?

Niether Advance Auto or Auto Zone had a thermostat housing that was correct. O'Rielly's Auto parts was able to cross reference to original part number and furnished me with the correct thermostat housing. Everything is all buttoned up and works fine. Thanks for the help?

Well I guess I found the dinosaur! Took some calling around but I did find a radiator shop in my area (SE Florida). They can convert my stock radiator to a three core as well. So.... my timing belt/ water pump and radiator project is right around the cornner!

Im sorry I didnt get back with you sooner, I've just returned from vacation. I'd be happy with either one, the cleaner one of course is easier as long as the crack still allows me to mount it in the engine compartment.

Do you have a working not leaking windshield washer reservoir with attached pump. A gas cap and perhaps an original radio for a '76?

After writing Randy Ball a letter we spoke on the telephone over the weekend. He confirmed he still currently owns 1544, he also owns another '75 Cosworth. I confess I wrote down the number but have misplaced the paper. He also confirmed that he did own #500 and I guess actually still does. The car was taken over by rust and he has parted it out. He keeps the parts for spares for his other Cosworths. So RIP #500. I expect to keep in touch with Mr. Ball and have asked him to let me purchase #500's dash plaque for nostalgic reasons.
