crank no start

was driving my cv home from a cars and coffee when all of a sudden it died. got it home. found it had no spark. did some testing with a test light. had power at the coil, so figured it was a bad coil and replaced. with new coil installed I am not getting any spark. any tips or ideas what it could be?

or how to further diagnose the car

Cam follower/valve tappet diameter

Hello everyone,

I am in the process of researching and acquiring parts for rebuilding my engine. I would like to know if anyone has the spec for the diameter of the cam followers as I don't want to take them out of the head just yet. Looking for viable alternatives to the valve tappets so that the valve adjustment can be done with readily available shims. Honing out the tappet bores to fit a slightly larger tappet would be an option. But I can't find the spec anywhere so I'd like to see if anyone has one they can measure the outer diameter of.

PCV for Hutton Weber set up

Hello!

Anybody out there running the Dual weber side draft carburetion set up, with a custom PCV system. I want to maintain good ventilation (slightly negative pressure), without sacrificing performance. Was thinking about creating ports in the intake, and installing a mini K&N filter on the valve cover port as an inlet.

Interesting, PO of my car Autocrossed it... there are 4 K&N elements attached to horns.

I was considering ports downstream of the throttle plates, but a bit concerned that the side drafts will need to be re-jetted to compensate, also performance loss.
