I bought this car from the original owner, Bob Genn, on 9/1/2020. Bob bought the car from Lafferty Chevrolet in Warminster, PA. Story goes it was special ordered with radio delete and the customer backed out of the deal so Bob bought it. It was driven as a daily driver from 1975-1979. The cam carrier gasket started to leak so he parked it in his garage and has sat since. Everything on the car is original including tires, battery, hoses, spark plugs, plug wires, catalytic converter, shocks and wipers. It currently has 37,779 miles on it. The swing out windows were added by Bob in the 70's. The engine was seized from sitting but I got it to free up and it runs great. The car is 99% rust free. Only major rust on the car is the battery tray, everything else is just surface rust. Overall it's in good condition but needs to painted.

Belongs to Teddy Petty from Georgia. He adjusted the clearance on the tappets in his motor with shims
made from Miller beer cans. Until he did that his wife called it a pea thrasher! And they worked!
Hey guys I’m back after a little time off on the Cos and more time at work. Boy you gotta hate that.
Well I took #0152 to a car show this weekend. The first thing I heard when I pulled in the gate after
paying my entry fee‐ was hey that’s a COSWORTH! Man I felt 10 feet tall. My wife said it figures, you
spend all this money and one little comment makes it worth it, don’t it. ***###.;/ Well she had a good
time walking around looking at all of the other cars. We got to the show late and only had a few people
ask questions but we left looking at other cars as we are car nuts too but for the first response we had a
great input on the car. Most of the Questions were from the young. Isn’t a Cosworth a Ford racing car?
NO IT’S A CHEVY A HIGH PERFORMANCE CHEVY. */*/* Well I cooled my jets and said well, mine is
special, and then they want to know more. #0152 is almost ready thanks to JAKE. Dash looks good,
interior is good, but the exterior needs work. Thanks to everyone that has helped over the last year, and
special thanks to Tim for all the great parts he has provided over my trials and needs. Ted #CV0152

Dan Rew posted in April, 2003 a comment in the cosworthvega.com Guest Book saying that his father, who died in 1992, once owned this car. Dan wondered as to its current whereabouts. drew206@hotmail.com

Belongs to Ted Gacoscus of Georgia. He posted on Yahoo in July of 2005: My Cos has gone downhill
Need a stripe kit and some paint #s to repaint #0156. The high pressure pump went out, the clock
stopped working, the rear end squawks, and the fuel filter is clogged. Any suggestions?

Message: I purchased #0158 new in 1975 from LaPoint Chevrolet in Charlotte, NC. I kept it for 3 years put about 5800 miles on it and then sold it. I was wondering if it was on the registry.

We were at the Kernersville Car show and found another Cosworth. George and Pam Frye.
#0168 VIN# 1V77E5U201613 BLK/BLK VINYL They dropped a V8 but they still have the original CV engine in their garage.
Bought from Mike Oehman a couple years ago but Oehman bought it about 1977 and had
it that entire time.
