In January, 2004, Paul Wicker wrote: The last time I heard about the car, it had been sold by the original owner
(Dick's posted pictures were taken in the original owner's driveway) to a body shop owner in the Akron/Canton,
Ohio area. He had done rust repair on the battery tray and right front body inner corner by welding in rust free partsfrom a donor Vega, I think I remember he had gone over the body and it was now entirely painted in gray primer. He was advertising the car as is in Hemmings Motor News in the early 1990's. Steve Larson did some follow-up on the car at that time. I would check with him if you are looking for a place to start searching.

In November of 2005 the website received a feedback from the buyer of this plaque: Hello. I have always liked the Cosworth Vega, but do not own one. Some time back I acquired for my automotive collection, an original Cosworth Vega Dash Plaque with the number 3953. Apparently it was not installed in a production car. It is in good condition with the 2 screw threads coming out the back end. Do you know what the last / highest dash plaque number produced was? Thanks. Randy. v1‐v2rotate@charter.net
