In July of 2005 Bob posted on Yahoo: “I have a problem with the 4‐speed transition on 0126. I went to take it out for a ride the other day and I thought I had it in first gear….let off the cutch and the car went backwards. So I tried again and same thing ….car is in reverse. I tried other gears, 2nd, 3rd and the car would not move, just stall and I smelled what I thought was clutch. I has my daughter sit in the car and hold the clutch in and I can move the car back and fourth so the problem is not the rear brake holding.”

See history under #0709, claimed to have been in “excellent original condition.”
My friend, Richard, owned #0127, and it had no decals when he purchased it, due to a repaint by the
previous owner. But, the car came with a new set of 3M die‐cuts that he installed after he repainted the
car. Richard repainted and re‐striped #0127 in the mid 80s. The car was equipped with an all vinyl
interior, aux. Light group, swingout windows, quick ratio steering box, posi‐traction differential, am/fm
stereo cassette player, and Cibie headlamps (the flat faced ones). Eaglefish123

For anyone keeping a database on Cosworths, I picked up Cosworth #0136 this past week (April 2004). It
has black on black, posi, swing outs, rear defogger, tinted windows, and a Weber conversion. There is
about 88,000 miles on the car. The car has been sitting for 7 years and has accumulated large rust spots
on the horizontal surfaces. Chris Long

I'm working on #138 now. It had timing belt trouble when I got the car, Pistons were hit, it last ran on fuel injection my other cars all had Weber's. I got it running on the fuel injection, idles a little high. I had a oil leak in the front , need a sleeve and seal on the crank that should fix it. Another problem is it needs a heater core any ideas on where I can get one or a substitute thanks.
#1943 bought new in 1977 Rusty tired has "aftermarket GM power heavy duty Block" sure!
#815 bought as a rust bucket for parts
#138 bought blown up body pretty good body now runs need heater core.

Found on Craigslist 7/21/15 Prividence Rhode Island
1975 Cosworth Vega in non‐running condition, partially disassembled for restoration but appears to have all parts to complete, very respectable condition, serial number 0138.
There appears to be extra Cosworth parts above beyond two completed cars above (see entry for 3214) . Both cars have had same family ownership for over a decade

Thanks for looking.” The wheels were offered in October of 2004.
