The swap is very straight forward. The T-50 bolts right up to the 75 bell housing. If you get the shifter that came with H-bodies with the center console you can even use the original 4-speed boot in the stock mounting holes. The cross member must be modified and the drive shaft shortened. You also need the torque arm bracket from a 5-speed H-body snd add spacers between the cataltyic convertor snd the bracket that attaches to the transmission tail housing. I have done 3 of these conversions, one into a ‘75 CV and two into 71-71 Vegas. The regular wide ratio 5-speed with the 3.73 CV axle ratio work really well with today’s 70mph+ speed limits.
