CV #1000 has a new Roommate (for now...)
Just got home from picking up #1538. She's had a hard Indiana life. Gonna try and get her to breathe one last time before the sawszall comes calling. She spend the next few weeks with CV #1000 for moral support.

turns out, this shell was not a Cosworth at all! The VIN, title, engine, and Vin tag for #1538 came with this car. Looks like someone was working on making a stock Vega into a Cosworth and lost interest! I was lucky enough to find a Vega Enthusiast who wanted the rusty shell, so I moved the bucket of bolts on... #1538 is Rust in Pieces.
