Website Work Continues...
Continually tweaking, improving, and adding features... here is a partial list:
1. The pages that have many items now use a "pagination" feature instead of the "more" button. This allows you to skip forward or backward when looking for something.
2. The magazine page now shows the Issue# and Date Published
3. Pages that need the dash number now have it centered and checked for 4 digits.
4. The Decode VIN and Decode Body ID Tag has been rewritten.
5. Most recently added a check status that looks at your membership expiration date and allows you to renew once expired.
6. Added inventory control to the CVOA Parts On-Line store.
7. Changed the Cosworth photo on "The Cosworth Vega" page from my Orange car to Clark Kirbys car. I really would like to rotate this thru on a monthly basis. Let me know if you would like your car featured. Next month we will see David / Cathies latest restoration in that spot!
8. Since the roundup I have also been devoting time each day to extend the CV Registry to include the car history. This is being done using a complilation in a Word document created in late December 2016 by John J Cowall, Mark Rock, and Chris Wheaton. So far I have entered timeline history for all known dash# up to #1055. Note: The CV History is ONLY available to the current owner of the car. If your is in this range, please search the CV-Registry and click on the More Info button. This will bring up the details about the car and a photo(if there is one) and a link to view the history. Please review and email me (cwvega76@gmail.com) any changes or additions you would like added to your car history.
If you come across anything on the site that needs fixing please let me know. Tim Couhglin just found a minor bug that I corrected a little while ago!
I agree as this was a very special edition. As soon as Jay is finished with it I will get with him and get it done.
