Jerry Battaglia in New York, NY bought from John Tester South Farmingdale, NY.
Garaged since 1982 41178, rear louvers, swingouts, am/fm radio, rear defogger, factory floormats,
cloth headliner. Talked with Jerry who said car had been garaged since 1982. He has since listed car and SOLD it on eBay. He has promised to put me in touch with new owner who is picking it up within the week.
Ebay Listing read:
This is your chance to own a rare 1975 Cosworth Vega! The car is in 100% original condition with only 41,178 miles. In 1982 the car was parked in the garage when John the second owner went off to college. This Cosworth Vega has its original black paint and original black interior and gold cosworth stripes and cosworth factory gold rims. The car is # 873 of a limited run. John claims the car ran perfect when it was parked in the garage back in 1982. The brakes and clutch are free and the motor does crank over. We cranked it by hand so it is moving freely. The car is a 2 owner car. You can mechanically get it going and just give it a good waxing. I did'nt even want to wash it or clean the interior -Ii wanted to keep it as i found it so it is dusty and the interior has dust and small amounts of mold / it can be easy wiped down and cleaned and armoralled!
Enjoy the pics and happy ebaying! Any questions please feel free to call me 631.620.1046 Jerry. Please do not bid on my car if you have zero feedback. Top bidder wins my car and is responsible for all shipping costs.
$500 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of purchase. Balance due at time of pick up. Car sold in "as is" condition.

The following ad appeared online at www.racingjunk.com in August/September of 2007: “We have a
1975 Cosworth Vega for sale. Car is all original paint, wheels, engine interior, (the rear window louvers
may or may not be original. May be a dealer add‐on, and the radio is not original. It also has a oil gauge
installed in the dash.) Everything else is intact. We didn't even see any rust on it super clean car for the
year. it was car number 0878 off of the production line. Has clear title but is from Oklahoma. PM me or
email me and I'll see about getting it out of the shop and getting it washed off and get some pictures. I
have some pics of car I can send, but they are not the world’s best. The car is going to need some paint
work and a tune up it's been sitting for at least 3 years, I'd recommend probably putting a new timing
belt, belts and hoses and the little stuff etc. asking 4000.00 cash.” Car is in South Hutchinson, KS.

This Seneca SC car appeared on eBay in February of 2009. According to the description, this car has
“been in a garage most of its life, has the original paint which is black with gold stripes. It is a solid car
that runs and drives very well. Seller has “some documentation from the previous owners.” The tires
were dry rotted and he put four new ones on it. He says it is a southern car bought new at a dealership
in Fort Myers, FL. Contact Chad at 864‐710‐2229. The VIN is 1V77E5U229683. It has 73,756 miles. It
has a white interior, and the back of the rear seat is all torn and the interior tail panel plastic has been
removed. The gold is gone from the dash bezel, and the shift knob is wood. The exterior paint is very
chalky and faded. There is a yellow stripe on the nose, roof and hatch. It has swingouts and faded OEM
wheels.

CV #0880 – Black/ Black Vinyl – bought in summer 1999. Bought out of Detroit, car had been in a wreck, front unibody had been replaced with a 76’ front end. Car had been painted white with CV stripes, in really rough shape. Paid $400.00. We stripped the paint, prepped it for paint. Car was re-painted dark blue, put silver decals on it, that I got from Chris Wheaton. Put a Hurst shifter in it. Car did not run when bought, within 2 hours of bringing it home, I had it running! I used the car for few years as a daily driver. Spun a bearing in original engine on way home from 2000 CVOA Louisville, KY Roundup. Installed a spare engine from Charlie Porter car (don’t remember dash number of that car right now. Charlie was going to put a V-8 in his car, we bought the engine). Sold the car to Bernie Ellery in Port Huron in 2003. He put a stock Vega motor in it and sold it. (maybe part of payment for the paint job on CV #1000?) Car ended with Steve Wasko, in pieces… (Cowall Owned 99 to 2003)

In the fall of 2002 it had 90,000 miles, with a black, black perforated vinyl, AM radio, rear speaker, cloth
headliner, floor mats, swingouts. It has a non‐stock metallic blue paint job, cut front springs, custom
silver paint on the rims, the blackout treatment, and it has had too many owners to list.

I am wanting to sell my CV, #0880. It is an aftermarket dark blue, with silver decals. It has a black vinyl
interior, with an aftermarket sound system in it. The engine is stock, 4‐speed, 3.73 non‐posi, with a
Hurst shift kit. The engine has about 90K on it and the body even more. This is the car I took to the
Louisville Round‐Up. The body is in poor shape, but no rust. I am currently using the car as a daily
driver, but it is not a restoration car. It is my opinion that it would make a fantastic parts car. Everything
is there, it is fuel injected. Asking $1200.00 or best offer. Will consider trade offers. The car is in
Detroit, Michigan, and can be driven to new destination. If interested, please e‐mail me at
buddyleejjc2@hotmail.com. I will answer any questions, but I have too many other projects going on,
and just moved into a new house, so I would like to sell the car.

CV #0881 – Black/ Black Cloth Interior – Bought the car in Winter 2002 from a guy in Tennessee along with a cloth 76’ interior and a 5 speed. Paid $500.00 for all of it. Car did not have a motor, was a little rusty underneath. Was painted Red with a silver stripe along bottom of car. CV rims were painted red. Installed an engine I had bought for about $250.00 at an estate sale out of Flint area, no idea what CV the engine came from. Bill Cowall used the car for a few months. Sold it on E-bay for $1400.00 (or was it $1200.00?) in winter of 2003 to someone in Illinois. JC took the car there. Cowall Owned 10-2002 to 11-2003)
