My husband, Chris Brown, and myself, Molly Bacon purchased #0892 in January 2011 from Rod Newland. It had been his father’s who had recently passed. It was for sale in Toledo, Ohio and we dollied it back to Georgia where we were living at the time. Not long after we purchased it, the water pump started to leak. We purchased a gasket set, but unfortunately, it fell to a lower position on the priority list and seems to remain there to this day. It has been stored either under a carport in Georgia or now the garage at our current home in Michigan. Sometime during the carport storage time, rodents chewed a couple of the plug wires. Chris was able to fabricate the replacement and using a quick auxiliary gasoline supply was able to drive it out and onto the car trailer for its trip to the “great white north.” It is now resting comfortably now in the garage.

My first car was a Cosworth I purchased in 1984 with 14,000 miles. It was a black '75 model, number
0892. Believe it or not, the owner prior to me just set it out in the sun, never drove it, and ruined the
paint. I painted it, black lacquer, and reinstalled the original decals and pinstripes. Interior and engine
bay was in great shape. I drove it as a daily driver before college forced me to sell it a couple of years
later with about 25,000 miles. I remember redlining it at 124 mph one night. That shiny black lacquer
on a "Vega," I had a lot of comments on it. Sometimes I wonder where it is. Tom Broussard,

Belongs to Greg Gibson. He and Arnie (Arnadine) brought it to the Roundup at the Glen. They also
brought it to the Florida RU in 2007 sporting a newly rebuilt motor by HME. The VIN is 1V77E5U230404.

Auto Barn in Defiance, OH wrote: I have a 1975 Cosworth Vega #903, black with white interior, beautiful
condition, 17253 actual miles. I have a car cover that goes with it. I feel it is worth around $3300 but I
am open to reasonable offers. If you are interested, please call or write.

Well I guess if you are determined to convert it, it just makes the rest of the CV's more valuable. You
really need to reconsider making it a V‐8. Save it and sell it to someone who can appreciate it. Brian

Just found CV #915 in my neighborhood. Seems it was his dad's car for about 17 yrs and he just passed.
It's in nice shape but partially apart. Motor is apart had head/valve work done. Very little rust , white
interior, am‐fm, flip out windows, rear electroclear, tint glass, dash gold color is almost perfect. Has
been in storage for many years but has a few dents and dings from that. Talked to him and advised he
join the club and put it back together as a original car. Also asked him to get photos on the website asap.
His name is Craig Cooper ccooper@ritter1.com (work email) 248‐828‐5323 cell
