As of September of 2013, this car is owned by Ross Little of Wichita Falls, TX.
Seller Notes:"1975 Chevy Vega Cosworth, car has 29K original miles as shown on NJ Title. Car is in nice
shape for its age as shown in pictures, runs very well also. I got the car in a trade and really only took it
to flip the car as I have no real need for it. Very rare car with the Cosworth engine. The interior is in
pretty nice shape, the driver's seat does have a rip in it as seen in pics. The paint has what it is for a car
made in 1975...see pics! Car is SOLD AS IS!!!!!! Car is for sale locally and I have the right to end the
auction early if it sells." Mileage is 29,245.

Now owned by Chris King, who reported on the Yahoo Group: Hi all. I just wanted to introduce myself
as the new owner of #1103. I brought the car home on Sunday, and have just got my new plates and
looking forward to a first drive this evening. This is my first CV, but not my first 70's classic, as I have a
'77 MG Midget that I've recently restored. One question ‐ I'm in the process of getting tech manuals and
such, but in the meantime, is there someplace I can find some very basic owner's manual type stuff, like
recommended service intervals, recommended oil weights, etc.? I'm looking forward to enjoying my
"new" car!

Offered on eBay again in August of 2005. Essentially the same ad, except now he reports that the car
has 15,956 miles and was recently driven up and down the alley in the back of his shop. He learned that
at least one wheel cylinder is frozen. Jere Stahl, Stahl Headers Inc., 1515 Mt Rose Ave., York, PA 17403
Up for sale again in 2006. Vehicle Description: Cosworth Vega #1103 of 3508. A very solid and rust free
1975 example with only 16K miles, the car was repainted in the early 80’s when the factory front and
rear spoilers were added. It has been stored for the past 23 years (it has received some minor scratches
while in storage). Mechanically as manufactured including 4‐speed manual and 3.73 rear axle ratio, it
even has the original exhaust. The white interior is in very good condition with the exception of the
driver’s seat which has a long crack in the outside bolster, please see the photos. New timing belt,
rubber fuel lines, tires and KYB shocks. Please ask any questions before bidding. Thanks for looking.
Historical Facts: The Chevrolet Cosworth Vega, one of the lowest production models in GM history, with
2061 produced in 1975 and 1447 produced in 1976 for a total of 3508. The car set several milestones
including pressure cast aluminum wheels, stainless steel exhaust header, electronic fuel injection and
direct acting double overhead cam 4‐valves per cylinder head configuration. Remember this car was
designed in the early 70’s! By today’s standards they seem a little low in power but in 1975 the 2.0L
engine compared very favorably with the larger V8’s offered in its sister‐car, the Chevrolet Monza. The
CV was rated at 110HP, the 4.3L V8 was also rated at 110HP and the 5.7L V8 California special was rated
at 125HP. A drag car it was not, it was made for the twisties. Unlike regular Vega’s from 71‐75, it shared
the torque arm rear suspension with the Monza, a design that later was used on Camaros and Firebirds.
In 1975 all the Cosworths carried a black exterior with gold pin stripping and gold painted wheels. Most
came with black interiors with a lesser number having white.
Support: With a loyal following, the Cosworth Vega Owners Association is comprised of knowledgeable
and helpful members. The club is dedicated to keeping the cars roadworthy by pursuing the
manufacture of here‐to‐for unavailable parts. See www.cosworthvega.com for more information. Sold

Offered for sale in late 2002. The car is a 1975 Cosworth #1103. I am the 2nd owner. It was last
licensed in 1985. Last year we had to put a fuel tank and tank pump in it and we had it running. The car
was painted in approximately 1983 or 1984. It has new decals on it and I have a few spares. The car has
15,956 miles on it. The tires are steel radials with no more than 3000 miles on them. The car also has
new Koni shocks all the way around and they also have less than 3000 miles on them. It has GM spoilers
front and rear. The white interior is very, very clean. The wheels could use a reconditioning and there is
1 scratch, on the LF fender I think. Jere Stahl, jfs@stahlheaders.com.
