On 8/24/2003 Pat was “Still working on it. The gas tank is sitting in an acid bath as we speak.”
I have the Cosworth #1332. It was in storage for a very long time (approximately 27 years) and is low
mileage 11,320. I have replaced the fast idle valve (from you), and the entire fuel line system. I continue
to have difficulty with the idle. It either idles very rough and/or it has absolutely no power on the low
end. Once it gets going, it goes great guns, but take off is like a dog. Also, even after I've gotten going, if
I step on the gas too fast, it will cut out and then take off. I really have to ride the clutch whenever I take
off. It is the coldest blooded animal I've ever seen. It has to run for a Long time, even on 80 to 90 degree
days, and if I go too soon, it will chug and sputter until I get going fast enough. I asked a mechanic
about putting it on a computer to read what the problem may be. I guess that because it sat for so long,
there may be some adjustments to be made in the computer on the car. He said he couldn't obtain the
'values'. I am not sure what values are, but I am hoping you know and can tell me what they are so I can
pass them onto him. I purchased a service manual but he says what he needs are not in there. HELP!!

I purchased a 1975 Cosworth yesterday. it is #1332. It has only 10,500 original miles. It has not been
started since 1988. It has been kept in well‐protected storage since 1977. My question is: do you
recommend any particular precautions to take before I try to start it after sitting that long. I will remove
the gas tank and clean it out. Do you know if the tank is aluminum? If so, it cannot be boiled clean.

Offered on eBay in June of 2004, located in Oklahoma City, OK. No VIN listed. “This is a 1975 Cosworth
Vega #1341 of approximately 3000 made and 750 in existence these came with: 4cyl Cosworth motor,
stainless steel tuned headers, Hurst 4 speed, aluminum bumpers. Car is clean and straight, needs an
alternator and tuned. The interior is in good shape, passenger side door panel is off because it needs
the little rod going from the outside handle to open it, but I have the panel and speaker also. It came
with fuel injection but has been converted to Weber side draft carbs. Dual overhead cams, has new
tires, new carpet, one small crack on the dash, no rips or tears. Black/ Black vinyl. Paint is good could
use a good wet sanding to bring out the shine. I am selling this due to the fact that I have to many other
projects to finish and no time to work on this one. Can’t stand the fact that the car is just sitting, needs
a good home and a little TLC. Let me point out that these are rare cars and all are numbered on the
dash. Motor has been rebuilt. Car is being listed locally, so I reserved the right to pull this ad if sold
locally.”

Now Currently owned by a Ryan Todd from Asheville, NC. He bought the car from a Dennis Derby, the
person who got it from Doug Thompson. Ryan states the car is an 8‐1/2 out of 10. Car has been re‐
painted and has Phoenix Graphics Stripe kit. Ryan is having an engine issue, sounds like it is a spun
bearing. (as of 10/01/15)

Unknown Date. In Athens, IL in really rough shape according to Kyle Pezold, who owns CV #0233.
Vin on 1346 1v77e 5u252762 Was converted to a 5 speed and is on its second cv engine. Was wrecked
hard enough in the drive side quarter that the rear end tunnel has a ripple across it. Also has a slight kink
in the hatch from that wreck. Also the car my dad gave me I'm high school since he wouldn't have felt as
bad it was wrecked again. Does run but I have the fuel tank out of it for #0233. Black/ Black Vinyl

This car belongs to Frank Bayus of 1069 Kale Adams RD, Leavitsburg, OH 44430.
He bought it in October of 2012. The fellow he bought it from is Mr. Donovan, who bought it out of
Tennessee. It has a Chevy 305 V8 in it, which was supposedly done at Jenkins in either Butler or
Buchannan, PA. No more details available, other than it has a plexiglass rear window and the interior
and carpet need to be replaced.

Tonawanda number is 1469. The car has apparently been scrapped. Seller said that the engine ran
