CVOA Website Tech Support

Our last Tech Support Help, Everrett, has ghosted out. It has been 3 months of me trying to contact him off and on and no response. I am trying to source a new tech support person through Upwork. Hopefully will have someone by the end of this week.

Tech support jobs that need to be done

• Setting up the election cycle. I cannot get the one set up JD to work

• Fixing the Seach function for the CVOA Magazine Page

• I have a bunch of Videos that Maurice Schecter sent me, and I do not know how to load them to work on the site

• trying to get the tombstones to appear on the Registry for the RIP cars

CVOA Executive Committe and Regional Director Development ETC.

I will formally announce this later in the year, or next year. But, the 2025 CVOA National Roundup that I am hosting will be kind of fairwell by me. I need to hang up my official capacity roles with the CVOA. I no longer will be the President, or the CVOA Magazine Editor, or the Chief Judge for the Roundup Concours Events. The only two roles I would like to hang on to are supporting the Online Registry and doing edits, etc. And, being the Chief Judge for the Heritage Gold Award Program, and Judging cars at Roundups for this Award.

Life is getting a bit full for me these days, with family, my daughter growing up, and my time getting a little more limited at work to do CVOA related items.

The Biggest part here is, I do not know of, or have any replacements in mind. I have asked for the last two years for assistance in finding replacements, and so far, no takers. I will gladly help assist any person who takes over these roles, getting them up to speed, etc. and hopefully someone or someones will take on these roles and lead the Club forward. 

I have accomplished what I wanted with the Club. I helped get a more responsive Website. by 2025, I will have produced over 40 CVOA Magazines. And I think, helped the Club be a necessary resource for any CV owner.
