Oil restrictor
Hello ,Its was the head gasket ,Can anyone tell me how to make an oil restrictor and the reason for it . Do i have to modify the new head gasket with a oil restrictor ? I read it came with instructrions I dont recall my gasket saying anythind on how to make one , But i probably missed it. I put old gasket against new one It matched except one water jacket hole was round , Of course i tossed old head gasket. did i need to put restrictor on gasket or was it just put on wrong on my part, but any info can help . Thomas - great question! The 0.100 inch restrictor hole is correct. I screwed up the math in my head for my original post. Thank you for questioning my answer! The CORRECT drill diameter is 3/32 inch, which is the 0.094 inch in my original post.
I will spare you the explanation on how I made my error.
