I have a persistant oil leak from my oil pan especially if I drive it hard, I have changed the gasket and put some gasket maker but I still have a drop after driving it and a bigger oil spot if I drive it longer distance and get on it more..

The oil is coming from the rear of the pan , the part that goes under the flywheel inspection plate..

The motor is rebuilt with new rear main seal..and I don't see any oil on the flywheel so Im guessing its seeping from the rear of the pan during high revs..

O was thinking adding some RTV on the exterior of the pan in that area but not sure how that would work.

Has anyone experienced this and perhaps a fix for it?
