Wants to fire, but dies

I started my car, pulled it out of my garage and put it under the carport to change out the board on the back of the tachometer, it is not reading correctly. Got the board changed, and then tried to start the car to see if all the gauges still worked. It won't run. It will try to fire up, but dies. I ordered a factory manual for the CV about 2 weeks ago, but it has yet to arrive. I have checked to fuses in the fuse block and up by the ecu, both are fine. Where should I be looking??

Thank you for that.

AN UPDATE !!!

After checking fuses, the fusible link, which is in the wiring from the battery to the ECU, unplugging that connection from the ECU and then plugging it back in. I then took the hose off of the fuel return side of the fuel rail, ran a hose into a jug and turned to engine over to see if fuel was being up to the engine, which it was, reattaching everything, I tried starting it up, and IT RUNS again. I drinking a beer. I have no idea what, if anything I did. The only thing it could have been was when I was checking the fuse in the holder up by the ECU, a wire on one end came off. I soldered a new fuse holder in. That might have been the problem. Anyways, it's running again. Thank all of you who made suggestions and tips trying to help me out.
