Update on Cosworth #0289. The car was sold at the Kruse auction of August 29 through September ,2 2007 in
Auburn, Indiana. I'm sure this is the car as its the only one I've seen with a spoiler. Any info please

Recently acquired in early 2009 by Rudy of San Antonio, TX. VIN is 1V77E5U208930. It has the black
vinyl interior. It has been sitting for a very long time. He found a CV Magazine from 1994 in it and that
is how he contacted some Club members. He says it is solid, that the interior is perfect, and that he
wants to get it running. He has had the gas tank re‐done and is working on fuel pumps etc. now.

Barry Connally now has the dash plaque.

In 1997 this car was owned by Jeffrey L. Brown of Newark, DE, 19702. He was offering it for sale. No
word on what happened to it.

Once owned by Cort Stebbins in Michigan. Black/ Black Cloth VIN 209628. Once a member in the CVOA
in the 1980’s. Car was sold to Doyle Powers. Last owner was Alex Voss who sold it in 1990 per Region 8
records.

According to a March 2008 membership application, this car belongs to Bill Evans of Woodstock, IL.
He still owns it in 2012.

As of September, 2013, this car is owned by Mike Tjensvold of Ridgefield, WA.

According to Robert Bowen’s January, 1978 Registry, this car then belonged to Ronald E. O’Brien of 562
Mill, Lincoln Park, MI 48146.

Dismantled and stripped in the fall of 2004, and traded to a fellow in Parma, OH who planned to cut off
the rear tail panel and quarter panels to install on another Vega, to cut out the floor for a friend, and
scrap the rest. He did.

Sitting in a garage in Niles, Michigan. Owned by Jim Bartuska. Hasn’t been started for at least 10 years.
Body is solid, except at tail panel where it has major cancer. It will need paint. Has a Hurst Shifter and
raised white letter tires. Extremely dirty, battery tray rusted out, spare tire well and bottom of tail
panel/load floor shot. Offered for $1500, including a diagnostic tester box and an NOS dash bezel. VIN
1V77E5U209810. Purchased by Mark Rock and Tom Lippert as part of a package deal for it and two
parts cars and a bunch of parts in October of 2002. The parts cars were dismantled and scrapped; this
car is awaiting a decision on whether or not to scrap it as well.
