According to an April 2010 Yahoo! post by James Green, “I finally got around to getting up to where my
car is and looking it over again and actually diving into it a bit to get some work done to it. She fired right
up and didn’t skip a beat. We found a few minor problems with her but as my best friend said it’s a
diamond in the rough. So does anyone know anything about 1218? Just curious to see because it has a
CVOA sticker on the back driver side window so one of its owners must have been involved with the
association.

#1221 Valrico, FL. 1975 great shape it has a new motor in it with less than a tank of gas ran thought it. It
was not complete when I bought it. I rebuilt the Webers and drove it 1 week end then I sold the Webers
and spent $1000 on the new fuel pump and stuff to make car original. I don't have the time to finish it.

transmission and a spare trans and 2 spare motors that come with it . It would be running in about 4 hrs.

March, 2008. Received a picture of a cam cover gasket set. Had written on it in black marker “Mac
Hunsucker 1227”. Is this a reference to the owner and the dash number? Unlikely, but possible.

YES.............................21,290 MILES!!!!!! Great opportunity to pick up a collector car. These cars don't go
for a fortune so this a great opportunity to pick up a rare car with its original build sheet, window sticker
(wow!...look at the price.....close to Corvette money!) and other original papers and items. A powerful
Dual overhead cam motor from the Cosworth Racing folks, 4 speed, 3.73 positraction, suspension
tweaks and wheels make these neat cars.

The car belonged to a gentleman who had a handful of old cars. His son in law (a mechanic) would take
them out of storage so he could drive them for a month or so each, in the nicer weather. He passed
away years ago and the car has sat for about 8 years. There is some surface rust from sitting. Also, the
car had hail damage when purchased many years ago by this owner. To be thrifty the hood and hatch
were repaired and painted.......mediocre work that has held up reasonably......a bit checked and dry. The
top however was not repaired, it was covered with a vinyl top and a sunroof was added.

Tires are ancient. The fuel pump in the tank is bad. An external electric pump was put on to keep things
simple........no worries, it has the right pressure (48psi). There is no converter anymore.
A very decent little car! Be the only one on the block with one!!!!!!! Feel free to come

According to Tim’s March 96 Regional Newsletter, this car was owned by Bill Smith, who was then
working at an AC manufacturing facility in Wichita Falls, TX, where oxygen sensors were made. He
still owns it as of November of 2021. The car is still in Abilene in a self-storage unit and up on jack stands awaiting assembly.
Selling dealer was in Houston area of Missouri City, Texas; the one previous owner lived in Stafford, Texas, it was purchased from him in 1977.

Kyle Pezold who owns CV #0233 now owns the engine from #1236. Car is documented as having 3000 miles on a hutton rebuild.

According to a March 2012 membership application, this car is now owned by Steve Knoblock of
Bourbon, MO.

Offered again on Craigslist in January of 2011: 1975 Cosworth Vega‐ 57000 miles. Not perfect but in
very good condition for its age. Solid body & floors, paint is lifting around back glass and quarter
windows. Car was repainted some years ago and the Cosworth Twin‐Cam stripes were not put back on.
The wheels were sandblasted but not repainted, and had new tires put on . Interior is in good condition,
carpets were replaced not long ago, dash bezel was replaced with an NOS piece. Factory radio is in the
dash but needs hooked up. Driver seat cover is tearing in the seams. Could be recovered, foam and
springs are in good shape. I have some documentation on the car and would like to see it go to someone
who will appreciate it for the rare piece that it is. Price is $4500.00 I would listen to a reasonable offer,
May trade for a 73 or older V‐8 Vega or a Chevy Hot Rod ('72 or older, no projects or junk). For more
