This car appeared on eBay in May of 2012. The listing read, "1975 Cosworth Vega hatchback. New 383 stroker, new headers and 3" exhaust. 3" aluminum radiator with pusher fan. New front mounted trans cooler. Turbo trans with Hurst pro-matic shifter. Subframe connectors. 3:73 10 bolt pos rear. New centerline wheels. Good tires. Glass cowl hood on original hinges. Rear mounted battery. Body is solid. A few chips and one small dent on the left rear quarter panel, in front of the bumper. There is also a spot of surface rust about 6" long on the outside right rear window sill. Easily repairable. No rust thru. Otherwise paint is very presentable. Original interior is complete and in very nice condition. Original fuel tank was just stripped and sealed. New electric fuel pump and lines. New autometer guages, tach/shift light. New windshield, we have the windshield chrome and wiper arms. And will have them installed by end of auction. This is a really nice car and draws a lot of attention. Ready to go fast..cheap... This is a...no reserve auction... As always, any questions. Let me know. Starting price is less than what we have in the engine ...we would consider selling as a roller. But, won't sell engine first. I apologize too all honest eBayers. But, because of a loser in Florida who, after all these years, left me my only neg feedback, there is a non-refundable deposit due within 24 hours of auctions end. Thank you, and good luck bidding....auto-check is decieving. It lists service dates, license transfers, as well as collision and title transfers. It requires potential buyers to purchase their service. The title we have is clear/clean. We reserve the right to end this auction early. Complete payment thru PayPal is accepted....... Engine...the crank, rods, pistons were all balanced. It has a solid lifter cam camel hump heads all reworked. "performance rpm" aluminum intake with a 850 Holley dual feed. MSD ignition. The trans is a 350 turbo, shift kit, mild stall...just rebuilt. It is not perfect..but, it's a reasonable price for this kind of performance.... Over $8000 in the motor/trans.....this is a no reserve auction....and will sell to the highest bidder. I will assist in any way I can to help load the car or assist carrier. Thank you.

1975 Vega Cosworth # 1546 Garage find, 1975 Chevrolet Vega Cosworth #1546 DOHC, EFI 4cly with 4 speed. Odometer reads 28,655, title reads odometer discrepancy, I believe the miles the odometer shows is correct as of the condition of the Vega. Vega is in all original condition with a solid body, (has the 1975 Ohio tags) at some point it appears that the left door has been damaged (door skin replaced) other than that it appears to have no other body repairs, body is straight has some surface rust (very solid) original color and paint with gold graphics (graphics are faded) The Vega runs excellent, everything works, the hood cable will need replaced, has the correct gold spoke wheels, the interior is close to being perfect, driver seat has very minor wear, (perforated vinyl) has the correct 8000 RPM tachometer and the dash is in great condition all original. There were only 3508 Cosworth Vegas built during its two year run of 1975 and 1976, all cars were built at the Lordstown Ohio plant. The car has new tires, new injector seals, new battery, fresh gas, and has had a lube and the oil and filter changed. The Vega will need refinished, paint and graphics are faded & worn. This car is an extremely nice example of the Cosworth Vega. For more information on this car, you are welcome to call Brian at 740-341-7082.
