Just this weekend I picked up cosworth #2409. Your registry has the picture thats about a month old from the seller I just got it from. Right now the only thing I believe I am missing is the fuel sending unit, Which I am in contact with someone who has a whole tank assembly(old and used) that I may bite the bullet and get it to rebuild even though hes asking a lot. Its was stored by the second owner as far as i know for 31 years in a garage in los angeles and is i believe 95% original. Has the original spare tire and rim, Even came with that yellow hatch tent and so much more

have a 1976 Chevy Cosworth Vega for sale. It was sitting in a garage for the last 31 years I was told the top end had been rebuilt before it was parked but I do not have documentation for that repair. The gas tank has been taken out and restored I have the original rims and I believe I have the original tent that came with the car. The car is complete as far as I can tell. I will post more pictures of the car. The car is located in Camarillo. 54,000 miles 5 speed. I have had a number of inquiries. The car is not running it ran when it was parked in a garage 31 years ago. $9900 obo

I've owned #2409 since 1985. Bob Maloy rebuilt the top end in 1990. Went into storage in 1995, now coming out. Except for two disintegrated clutches in the past, the car always ran well. See also Yahoo message 220.

A black 1976 Cosworth Vega with 81 original miles, never registered or titled was actioned at Jurupa Valley California and sold for $15,500 on April 11, 2024. It looked as if it had been sitting for years, flat tires and a roof with about 80% surface rust.
Sorry I never got the chance to save any pictures.

Fantastic, one family owned, rust free, all original Survivor Cosworth Vega. All of the original paperwork, dealer and factory documents intact and included! Only 24,823 miles on this beautiful car.
Being an all original car that was driven only on nice days and to many car shows there is some patina and minor flaws in the paint. Nothing major and it’s just the character of the car. This car was really only used for sunny day cruises, drives to the ice cream store and car shows. It has always been stored inside and was never driven in the winter. It is well preserved and has been protected its entire life. It runs and drives excellent.
It is number 2437 out of 3508 Cosworth Vegas built during the two-year run of ‘75 and ‘76. Only 1447 were built in 1976.
Very hard to find any vehicle in this condition and fully documented.
Asking $29,900
