This car appeared on eBay in December of 2012. It is located in Emeryville, CA. According to the listing,
"I travelled long and far in the biggest storm of the year to drag this Vega out of a muddy pasture. As we
walked 100 yards to the back corner of the field, I just wanted to get in my truck and go home. The
owner, although sentimental, about his Vega was game. He started moving all sort of vehicles to clear a
path and I had to follow his lead. It's true, I would have left the Vega in the pasture had the owner not
been so motivated. He had allowed a family member to take possession of the Vega and all that
happened was a disassembly of the fuel system. I will limit my words here to one. Project. This Vega was
purported to have run before the disassembly. All the pieces of the puzzle look to be here but I am going
to jump out of this game right now. If this is the car you want look no further. I had 3 more of the
Cosworth rims waiting in the wings and I will load them up and push the Vega onto a big truck headed to
you. You will not be disappointed. You will have a Vega that will bring you great joy. Happy Holidays car
friends. I wish you well." The mileage is listed as 73,562. No VIN provided. According to Clark Kirby,
"My record shows CV #3088 owned by a guy named Whitehair in California in early 1987." According to
Dick, "It is a registered car, repainted white from the original black, and from Oregon."

CV #3090- Medium Saddle, Tan vinyl interior. Medium Saddle CV sold to Arizona, ended up Alabama, now current owner lives near Philadelphia. We bought the car in Winter of 2014. Car had original paint over 75 of body, just roof and cowl had been repainted. Car had black vinyl interior, black carpet, tan plastic pieces. Replaced the rear main seal on the engine, installed efi system back on it. (car had webers when we bought it. Converted it to a 5 speed from a 4 speed (originally a 4 speed car) RE-did the interior. Painted the interior plastic back to a Tan color. (used SEM products, the tan was a little lighter than OEM, but looked pretty good.) Had the seats completely re-done to stock tan vinyl interior. Replaced desh bezel with reproduction one. Got the engine re-painted to stock Medium Saddle color (wasn’t great, but much better than it was). Dressed up engine bay to look factory stock, pretty decent job. Took the car to the 2016 CVOA National Roundup in Green Bay, WI. Car received 82 points out of 100 in stock unrestored class. Sold car for $6800.00 in fall of 2016. (2-2014 to 10-2016)

Hi All. I recently swapped a Ducati motorcycle for a dark saddle Cosworth #3090. I have always wanted
one, even though I have to admit that it looks a little strange sitting in my garage with 2 Porsches. This
car is as solid as they come, except for the fact that the Georgia sun ate some of the interior. I have
located new carpeting, but am in the need of a nice driver’s seat, and back seat back. The interior is a
light tan. Let me know if you can help out. I live in N.W. Indiana. Thanks. Mike.

This dash# referenced on Yahoo Post...Medium Saddle with Lt. Buckskin interior, asking $3600. He bought
about a year ago (2000) from man in Canton who had it stored in GA for about 10 years. Solid car.
Battery tray rusted. Good wheels and tires. Base car: no swingouts, AM only (not working), no
accessory package, no defogger, 4‐speed. Oil leak. Had intended to do V‐8 conversion; that’s what
people who stop and look at the car talk about; he’d prefer to sell to someone who wants to keep it
original and who appreciates the car for what it is. Has Hutton 42DCOE8 Weber setup, no spare EFI
components, no literature beyond owner’s manual. 59k miles. Contact Jim Yanuta in Smithville, OH at
330 669‐3385.

needs rebuilding. This would be an excellent car to restore or could be used just for parts. Within 24
hours of the auctions end, a minimum deposit of $200.00 will be required through PayPal. For more
